RingCentral Video
Control the deck you are sharing in a RingCentral Video meeting with Cliqer, no integration and nothing for attendees to install.
RingCentral Video carries the everyday business meeting, the client review, the internal update, the sales call that turns into a demo. Cliqer fits into it without asking anything of your RingCentral deployment: the Cliqer app runs your presentation on the computer that joined the meeting, RingCentral carries the picture as an ordinary screen share, and your phone or tablet drives the slides.
There is no RingCentral app or integration to install, and nothing changes for the people watching.
Key Features
- Independent Slide Control: Advance and reverse the shared deck from your own device while the RingCentral screen share stays untouched.
- No Admin Approval Needed: Cliqer never connects to your RingCentral account, so there is no app, plugin or tenant change for IT to review.
- Works With Your Software: PowerPoint, Keynote, Google Slides, Prezi or a PDF viewer, whatever runs on the sharing computer can be driven.
Screen Sharing is the Bridge: Cliqer controls the application on your computer. For the meeting to see the slides, you must be sharing that application window or your screen inside RingCentral.
Setup and Usage
- Launch Cliqer on the computer joining the meeting and open the presenter link on your phone or tablet.
- Open your presentation and start the slideshow full screen.
- In the meeting toolbar at the bottom of the RingCentral window, select Share. You can also press Alt+S on Windows or ⌥ alt + S on a Mac.
- In the picker, choose your entire screen, the presentation application window, or a browser tab if your deck runs in the browser. On a dual-monitor setup, pick the display the slideshow is on.
- Confirm with Share. Attendees now see the slideshow.
- Advance the slides from the presenter link. RingCentral shows each change to everyone the moment it happens.
- Select Stop Sharing when you are finished.
Check the Host's Sharing Setting: Participants can only share when the host has allowed it in the meeting settings. If the Share button is unavailable, ask the host to enable participant sharing before your slot.
Keep to the Agenda: The countdown, presets and quick adjust buttons in Cliqer show on the presenter device only, so you can hold your slot without a clock on the shared screen. See the Timer guide.
For general Cliqer operation, see the How to Use Cliqer guide. To share a slideshow feed without exposing your desktop or presenter view, see Virtual Display.
