Hosts and Orchestrator
Hosts and Orchestrator are two dashboard pages for plans that include multi-host (Pro and above, and the Free trial). If you do not see them in the menu, your plan does not include multi-host. See Dashboard overview and Multi-host setup.
Hosts
Hosts (cliqer.io/dash/hosts) lists the computers that currently hold a seat on your licences, and on your team's licences. It is a read-only list: to free a seat, release the device in My Licences. See Licences and devices.
At the top, Active devices gives the number of devices and how many are online. The table shows:
| Column | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Device | The computer name |
| Platform | The operating system, and the chip type when known |
| Version | The Cliqer version it runs |
| Status | Online when the host is connected right now, with its room code. Idle when it holds a seat but is not connected |
| Last seen | When Cliqer last saw it |
Click the arrow at the end of a row for more: First activated, IP address, OS version and Device ID. The refresh button at the top reloads the list. With no devices, the page says No devices yet.
Orchestrator
Orchestrator (cliqer.io/dash/orchestrator), titled Host Orchestrator, is a live map of your hosts that are online right now. Start a presentation and your host appears. With none online, the page says No active hosts. The map updates by itself when hosts, presenters or links change.
- Click a host to open its panel: its room, Connected Users and their names, Status, and Linked Hosts.
- Link two hosts by dragging from one host to another. Cliqer confirms with Hosts linked and the rooms are synchronised. You can only link your own hosts, and linking needs a plan with multi-host.
- Unlink from the host's panel, with the unlink icon next to the link. Cliqer confirms with Hosts unlinked.
- If a host is moving to another room, Cliqer says Moving rooms and finishes the link when both hosts reconnect.
Hosts that share a room are synchronised automatically, so you only need a manual link between hosts in different rooms. Setup and examples are in Multi-host setup.
