GoTo Meeting

Use Cliqer to drive the presentation you are sharing in a GoTo Meeting session, webinar or training without touching the keyboard.

GoTo Meeting is a workhorse for trainings, webinars and client sessions, and those are exactly the formats where moving between the deck, the chat and the attendee list costs you the room. Cliqer separates the jobs: the computer in the session shares the running presentation, and your phone or tablet holds the next-slide control.

Nothing is added to your GoTo account and nothing changes for attendees, they see a normal shared presentation.

Key Features

  • Hands-Free Presenting: Walk a classroom or run a webinar from another room, the deck advances from the device in your hand either way.
  • Plain Screen Share: No GoTo integration is required. If your account can share a screen, it can present with Cliqer.
  • Long-Session Friendly: The Cliqer timer, chat and laser pointer keep multi-module training days on schedule.
You Must Be the Presenter: GoTo Meeting only shows the sharing controls to whoever currently holds the Presenter role. If you cannot see them, ask the organizer to make you presenter before you start.

Setup and Usage

  1. Start Cliqer on the computer that will join the session and open the presenter link on your remote device.
  2. Open your presentation and start the slideshow.
3. In the GoTo Meeting control panel, select the Screen button to open the sharing options.
  4. Choose what to share: your entire screen, the presentation application window, or a single browser tab if your deck runs in the browser.
  5. Confirm with Share. Attendees now see the slideshow.
  6. Navigate from the presenter link for the rest of the session.
  7. Select the Screen button again to stop sharing.
Pace the Session: The countdown, presets and quick adjust buttons in Cliqer are visible on the presenter device only, so you can hold a training module to its slot without a clock on the shared screen. See the Timer guide.

For general Cliqer operation, see the How to Use Cliqer guide.
