  • Or continue with email swaps in Email or username, Password and Continue. The link then reads Use licence key instead.
  • Biometric starts a passkey sign-in. Google starts a Google sign-in in your browser.
  • Start free opens the email form. When Cliqer already has an account session for you, it reads Continue as and your name.

Split View

The Cliqer sign-in window on macOS: email or username and password, Continue, sign in with a passkey or with Google, and Use a licence key instead
Signing in from Split View on macOS.
  • Sign in to start a room, with Email or username, Password and Continue.
  • Use a licence key instead swaps in Licence key ("The key from your purchase email.") and Sign in. The link then reads Or continue with email.
  • Sign in with a passkey, and Continue as with your name when Cliqer has an account session for you.
  • "New here? Enter any email to start free."
  • An empty field shows "Enter your email and password." or "Enter your licence key."

Extra steps

  • 6-digit code. Cliqer may ask for a code from your email or your authenticator app after the password. Type it and press Continue. Cancel goes back. Email me a code instead (when your account also has an authenticator app) or Send a new code (when the code came by email) sends a new code to your email.
  • Passkey. The system draws the dialog. On Windows Cliqer says "Finish the passkey sign-in in the Windows dialog."
  • Google. Cliqer says "Finish the Google sign-in in your browser." with Open the browser again and Cancel. After you approve, your browser may ask to open Cliqer. Allow it.
  • Working. Signing in shows while Cliqer talks to the server. Cancel stops it.

Licence seats

A licence key lets one computer host at a time. If the key is already hosting somewhere else, you see a seat message instead of a room. Windows says PC where macOS says Mac.

Owner Sign-InSign in with the account that owns this key to free its seats.

Free Seat frees the seat and signs you in here.

To free seats from a browser, open My licences on cliqer.io and press Manage devices on the key. Devices on this key lists each computer and how many seats are in use. Release signs that computer out and frees its seat straight away; Release all frees every seat on the key.

  • Signing out frees the seat too. Sign out in Settings frees this computer's seat, and Free Seat frees the seat held elsewhere.
  • Up to 3 frees per seat every 30 days. Freeing from the dashboard, Sign out and Free Seat all count: a key frees up to 3 computers per seat every 30 days, so a 10 seat key frees up to 30. Past that, contact support to free another. A key with unlimited seats has no limit.
  • An unused seat frees itself. A seat whose computer has not been seen for 30 days goes to the next computer that signs in with the key.
