Classic or Studio

ChoiceWhat you get
ClassicThe compact Cliqer panel beside your slides, for presenting.
StudioA full window with the Studio, for mixing and streaming live shows.

Your choice sets the main window's layout. You can switch at any time in Settings. If your plan has no Studio, the Studio card reads Needs Studio, and the tour runs the Classic stops in the Classic layout.

To see the guide again, choose Help > Welcome to Cliqer.

The guided tour

The window dims and a bubble points at the real control. Each bubble shows a counter such as "2 of 4", Next (Done on the last), Skip, and Learn More, which opens the page on this site that explains the control. A stop whose control is not on screen is left out. Escape or Skip ends the tour. The last bubble says: "Open this guide again from Help > Welcome to Cliqer."

After the first launch

The Classic layout on Windows: Controlling Focused window, the room link, the timer, one presenter and the Previous slide and Next slide buttons
The Classic layout on Windows.
  • Classic is a narrow panel. Signed out it shows the sign-in form. Signed in it shows the room link, the timer, the presenters and the Previous slide and Next slide buttons.
  • Studio opens a wider window with a list on the left: Room, Studio, Timer and Devices. On macOS this layout is called Split View.
  • The window title on macOS shows the version and, once you are signed in, your plan, for example Cliqer - v3.1.1 - Studio HD. During a Free trial the title shows the time left instead, such as Cliqer - Trial 12d, then Cliqer - Ends today.
  • Look. Settings > General > Glass sets the glass: System, Clear, Frosted or Off.
  • Updates. Cliqer checks for updates by itself. On Windows a Cliqer update available dialog offers Install and restart or Later. See Updates.
Keep Cliqer open while you present. Quitting while you share your screen or someone is on a video call asks Quit While Live? first: "Quitting ends your share and disconnects every caller."
